Audit of Halifax mayor's expenses prompts council to seek region-wide reform plan

HALIFAX - A Halifax council committee has called for a plan to improve financial accountability within the mayor's office and the municipality in general after an audit raised questions about $111,000 in Andy Fillmore's mayoral expenses.
