Balchem’s K2VITAL DELTA linked to benefits for long-term heart health

New research from the DANCODE trial found that daily vitamin K2 and D3 supplementation, featuring Balchem’s K2VITAL™ DELTA vitamin K2 MK-7 ingredient, was associated with 21% less progression of coronary artery calcium over two years compared with placebo. The study included 398 participants across three Danish hospitals and also found slower progression of calcified plaque and changes in biomarkers linked to vitamin K and D activity. Researchers say larger, longer-term studies are needed to understand what these findings could mean for cardiovascular health.
