bioMérieux launches rapid PCR assay for probiotic species verification

bioMérieux has launched a rapid PCR-based assay, GENE-UP PROBIOTIC SPECIES ID, that verifies the identity of 18 commonly used probiotic species in dietary supplements within 90 minutes, addressing a significant bottleneck for manufacturers previously reliant on slower external lab testing.
