Jaguar Land Rover reportedly wants into the American pickup market, and the vehicle to do it is a Defender-based truck built in the United States through the joint venture it's cooking up with Stellantis. That's the report from Britain's The Times, which pegs the U.S. pickup segment at $80 billion and frames the move as a fightback under JLR boss PB Balaji, who has already cut 4,000 jobs.
