Microalga extract shows promise for fatigue through mitochondrial function

Haematococcus pluvialis extract (YHC-T-2414) may reduce exercise-induced fatigue by enhancing antioxidant defences, reducing oxidative stress, and supporting mitochondrial function. In muscle cells and mice, the extract improved exercise endurance and reduced markers of muscle damage, oxidative stress, and inflammation, although further research is needed to confirm the effects in humans.
