The EdTech Quality Collaborative, a group of six education-focused organizations, recently released a new tool for assessing and purchasing K–12 technology. The guide grew from an issue that touches every district in the nation: tech sprawl. The average district accesses nearly 3,000 distinct ed tech products in a year, but until now there was no K–12-specific framework for evaluating these tools.
