Ford Motor Co. isn’t giving up on EVs just yet. Last year, it revealed plans for its Universal Electric Vehicle platform designed to make EVs cheaper to produce — and cheaper to buy — while giving Ford plenty of flexibility on the type of electric vehicle it could build.
