A little over one year since the new A’s Ballpark broke ground in Las Vegas, construction on the massive 33,000-seat stadium is making progress, with the second of the six arched roof trusses now in place and spanning nearly 700 feet across the playing field.

"When complete, the roof structure will rise 290 feet above the playing field," says a social media update by Thornton Tomasetti, the engineering partner for the stadium. "The ballpark will also feature one of the world’s largest cable-net glass façades in the outfield, providing expansive views of the Las Vegas Strip." The development is located on the site of the former Tropicana Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip.

The team first unveiled the design by BIG and HNTB in 2024 after formalizing its intention to relocate from Oakland to Nevada in time for the start of the 2028 season.
