A Toronto pavilion designed with community input

LGA Architectural Partners has completed Mabelle Park, a new public space serving a high-density residential community in Toronto, Canada. Developed with non-profit organization Mabelle Arts, the project transforms a previously underused site owned by Toronto Community Housing into a neighborhood park and cultural gathering space.

The project follows a seven-year collaboration between LGA and Mabelle Arts, including an engagement process involving hundreds of local residents. Workshops, art-making, theater, and music activities were used to gather input from community members and inform the design.
