Annabelle Selldorf makes inaugural TIME100 Art list

Annabelle Selldorf has been listed in the TIME100 Art 2026 list. The listing comes a year after Selldorf also made the TIME 100 Influential People list in 2025.
“If the art world has an unofficial architect, it’s Annabelle Selldorf,” the magazine said. “The German-born founder of Selldorf Architects received rave reviews for her understated, elegant renovation of the Frick Collection in New York City, which cost $220 million and opened in April 2025 after a five-year closure.”
“Now, she’s taking on a fresh, high-profile commission. Her firm was chosen for the more than $315 million redesign of the Grande Colonnade of the Louvre in Paris—the museum’s largest renovation in 40 years,” TIME added. “Meanwhile, Selldorf remains the architect art dealers like David Zwirner have on speed dial to renovate their offices and design their galleries around the world.”
