Expert in commercial interiors? This NYC role could be for you

Following our previous look at an opening for Dean of the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Michigan, we are using this week’s edition of our Job Highlights series to explore an open role on Archinect Jobs for a Senior Architectural Designer for Commercial Interiors at Fogarty Finger, one of several openings at the firm on our jobs board.

The position, based in New York City, calls for an individual who will be “leading design development, consultant coordination and project management across all phases – from schematic design through construction administration.” Among the responsibilities will be leading design reviews, selecting materials and finishes, and overseeing the production of drawing sets. Among the requirements for the role are 6-10 years of relevant experience and a working knowledge of NYC building codes and other applicable standards.
