A major construction milestone was marked in Paris recently with the topping-out ceremony for the massive new Triangle tower

Designed by Herzog & de Meuron and met with significant local opposition in 2014, the 42-story scheme in the 15th arrondissement was eventually approved by the city in 2015, okayed by the courts in 2019, almost killed again two years later, and eventually sent off to construction by contractor Besix in 2022. Valode & Pistre Architectes is listed as partner architect.

Having reached its final height of 583 feet, the mixed-use tower has now taken its place in the Paris skyline.
