The Miller Hull Partnership and Woods Bagot have completed the C Concourse Expansion at Seattle–Tacoma International Airport. The project, which we reported on in 2023, expands the existing concourse from 81,000 square feet to 229,500 square feet, adding four new floors and increasing passenger capacity while improving circulation, accessibility, and amenities.

Developed in collaboration with the Port of Seattle, the expansion is organized around the design concept “Bringing In, Seeing Out,” which seeks to strengthen visual connections between the terminal, aircraft, and the surrounding Pacific Northwest landscape. A folded exterior facade incorporates alternating south- and west-facing glass panels fitted with electrochromic glazing to reduce glare while maximizing daylight inside the building.
