New European architecture recognized with 'best architects 27' awards

The results are in for the latest edition of the annual "best architects award" program, with an international jury selecting 80 winning projects from nearly 400 submissions across Europe. Twelve of those entries earned the competition's highest distinction, Gold, recognizing work that pairs strong architectural ideas with thoughtful responses to today's environmental and social challenges. 

This year's winners span everything from housing and schools to cultural, workplace, and sports facilities, with especially strong participation in the "Renovation and Addition" and "Residential Multi-Family" categories.
