Ohio State's Knowlton School names Frank Jacobus as new director

The two leaders of Charlotte-based architecture and design practice SILO are on a roll right now: We reported yesterday that founding principal Marc Manack was appointed the new director of UIC's School of Architecture, while at the same time, co-principal Frank Jacobus has been named the next director of the Knowlton School at The Ohio State University

Jacobus, an architect, designer, artist, and educator, currently leads the Department of Architecture at Penn State’s Stuckeman School and will begin his four-year term at Knowlton on July 1. 

He arrives with nearly two decades of higher-ed experience spanning architectural education, administration, design-build pedagogy, and professional practice, including serving as associate department head in the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design at the University of Arkansas and teaching at the University of Idaho.
