Penn Station redevelopment to see MSG surrounded by square structure

New renderings have been unveiled for the redevelopment of New York Penn Station.
Last month, the DOT selected Halmar and Skanska to lead the project, having taken over the development from the MTA.

The redevelopment, designed by Practice for Architecture and Urbanism (PAU), aims to transform Penn Station into a larger, more accessible hub serving over 600,000 daily commuters. Among the priorities are reorganizing circulation throughout the station, reducing congestion, and introducing expanded waiting areas, retail, and passenger amenities.
