SANAA, Snøhetta, Chipperfield among architects shortlisted for Barcelona Liceu Mar cultural hub

Five teams are moving on to the final stage of the international competition for Liceu Mar, a new cultural venue planned at Barcelona’s waterfront. 

Promoted by the Gran Teatre del Liceu and the Port of Barcelona, the project envisions a second home for the historic opera institution while reconnecting the city with the waterfront at Moll d’Espanya.

The finalist teams are:
