Following our previous look at an opening for a Landscape Architect at Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects, we are using this week’s edition of our Job Highlights series to explore an open role on Archinect Jobs for a Principal Architect at The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey.

The role, based in New York, calls for an individual who will “work on a wide range of projects within the general context of transportation and infrastructure.” Projects can include airports, ferries, tunnels, bridges, and bus and rail terminals, working as part of a multi-discipline group of engineers and other design professionals that form the agency’s Engineering Department. Among the qualifications requested are a degree in architecture and fifteen or more years of experience in the field of transportation planning and architecture.
