University at Buffalo symposium explores resilient design through criticism

The University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning, an Archinect School Partner, will host “Advancing Resilient Design Through Criticism” on September 23, bringing together a multidisciplinary group of designers, researchers, and educators to examine how resilience can be advanced through critical discussion and design practice.

Held as part of UB’s fall Public Programs lecture series, the symposium will take place in person on the university’s South Campus and will also be available to attend online. Those joining remotely can register to attend via Zoom.

The event will be moderated by Dean Julia Czerniak and Nina-Marie Lister, with panelists Salmaan Craig, Felix Heisel, Karen M'Closkey, Miho Mazereeuw, Kiel Moe, Erkin Özay, Kristine Stiphany, and Charles Waldheim. Brief biographies for the participants are available on the symposium website.
