Weitzman students win USTA competition to reimagine future of tennis courts

Four Master of Architecture students at the University of Pennsylvania’s Weitzman School of Design have won the Future Courts challenge, a student design competition organized by the United States Tennis Association.
Ann Teng Chua, Teng Long “Tommy” Lee, Liam Niland, and Kotaro Shiraishi were chosen for The Rainwoven Court, a proposal for a tennis facility in Houston designed in response to the city’s heat, humidity, and heavy rainfall.
