Work begins on ‘Arc de Trump’ despite legal issues

The Trump administration is moving forward with plans to construct a large Triumphal Arch in Washington, D.C., despite ongoing legal issues. The 250-foot arch exhibits a classical style similar to that of Trump’s controversial White House ballroom plans.
Last week, the administration announced plans to break ground on the project, with Interior Secretary Doug Burgum saying that excavation would begin over the “next two-week period.” The announcement came despite the project having not been granted final approval.
