Would you stay at NOT A HOTEL's new Poké Ball guesthouse in a Japanese forest?

NOT A HOTEL has partnered with The Pokémon Company to create a guesthouse shaped like a giant Poké Ball in Hokkaido, Japan.
Developed in collaboration with the sleep-tracking game appPokémon Sleep, the accommodation sits in a forest beside a lake.

The scheme features a spherical exterior that recreates the red, white, and black appearance of the iconic Poké Ball, one of the franchise’s most recognizable objects. Inside, a circular monitor positioned above a window will display images of Pokémon.

The project is being launched to coincide with the third anniversary of Pokémon Sleep and the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise in 2026.
